Your exciting Private 2 days Zagora desert tour begins after breakfast. We’ll embark on a comfortable journey in a private A/C vehicle, traversing through the captivating landscapes. We’ll experience both the Hamada, which is the stone desert, and the Erg, which is the dune desert.
During our 2 days Zagora desert tour , we’ll visit some amazing places, including Ait Ben Hadou, Ouarzazate, and the enchanting Draa Valley. In the Draa Valley, we’ll explore the ancient Kasbah of Tamnougalt, once a treasure trove along the silk route in the midst of a desert oasis. We’ll also have the chance to visit the splendid Agdez dates Market.
The breathtaking beauty of Morocco’s most renowned valley will leave you specchless. You can choose to explore it on foot or, if you prefer, on camel back, making your way towards our nomadic-style camp hidden amidst the dunes.
A customary evening tradition is to climb one of the higher dunes to witness the mesmerizing sunset. After that, we’ll enjoy a delightful dinner, and if you’d like, we can arrange a campfire experience complete with Berber songs and captivating storytelling. Dinner will be provided at the camp, and you’ll spend the night in this serene desert setting.
We’ll start our adventure in Marrakech at 8:00 am. Our journey will take us through the stunning Atlas Mountains using the Tizi ‘n Tichka pass. Along the way, we’ll make a couple of stops to take some photos and have a delicious breakfast.
One of our stops will be in the historic town of Telouet, which boasts an ancient 17th-century kasbah. It’s a fascinating place to explore and learn about its rich history.
Next, we’ll head towards Ouarzazate, where we’ll find the impressive Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO-protected site. We’ll take some time to visit this remarkable structure and appreciate its cultural significance. After that, we’ll enjoy a tasty lunch and explore the famous Atlas Film Studios, where many movies and TV shows have been filmed.

As we continue our journey, we’ll pass through Agdez and several Berber villages, and we’ll be able to witness the beauty of the Draa Valley and its lush Palmeraie.
Our final destination is the heart of Zagora village. Here, we’ll say goodbye to our driver, and the next part of our adventure begins. We’ll embark on a camel ride for hour and a half, taking us to our campsite. Arriving about half an hour before sunset, we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views.
Once at the camp, we’ll get to experience the unique culture of the nomads. We’ll have a traditional tea ceremony with them and then savor a delightful dinner. Afterward, we’ll gather around a warm fire and enjoy the sounds of nomadic music, making this a truly unforgettable evening under the starry sky.
To witness the breathtaking sunrise, you’ll need to wake up early in the morning. It’s truly an incredible and unforgettable experience. Once you’ve soaked in the beauty of the sunrise, we’ll have a delicious breakfast to start the day.
After spending a memorable night in the desert tented camp, it will be time to say farewell to the desert. We’ll begin our journey back to Marrakech, and by the end of the day, we’ll arrive in the city. This marks the end of our Private 2 days Zagora desert tour.
