This morning after breakfast we set off in a comfortable private A/C Vehicle; for our circular Marrakech to Zagora desert tour 2 days journey through the Saharan landscapes of both the Hamada (stone desert) and Erg (dune desert). Our first visits include Ait Ben Hadou, Ouarzazate & Draa; valley, where an ancient Kasbah of Tamnougalt once held treasures of the silk route in desert oasis terrain, followed by a visit to the spectacular Agdez dates Market.
Marrakech to Zagora desert tour 2 days Desert 2 days trip makes our way through the far reaches of Morocco, where we encounter the magnificent draa valley landscape. Morocco’s most famous Saharan valley is just breathtaking and transforming to the soul. On foot or camel back you have the option to travel into the remote dunes until our Nomadic style camp hidden in the dunes. An evening sunset climb to one of the higher dunes is customary followed by dinner and perhaps a campfire experience and Berber songs and storytelling can be arranged. dinner included. Tour Plan
Pick up from Marrakech at 8:00 am. We will drive for approximately 2 hours through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi 'n Tichka pass, stopping for photos along the way, and stopping to have breakfast. We will stop to visit the town of Telouet and its ancient 17th century kasbah.
Then, we will drive in the direction of Ouarzazate where we will visit the UNESCO protected Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. We will have lunch here and then visit the Atlas Film Studios.
After we will pass through Agdez and and many berber villages visit of the Draa Valley and it's Palmeraie.
then we drive to the center of the Zagora village and we leave our driver at there and after We ride camels for an hour and half to the camp. We arrive to the camp half hour before the sunset. then we will drink tea with the nomads ,then we will have dinner , after dinner will play nomadic music around a fire.
You will have to wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise. It's an amazing experience. After that you will have breakfast and quit the desert after a beautiful night spent in the desert tented camp. You will be in Marrakech by the end of the day.
